Swedish Chamber of Commerce SwedCham Indonesia has become a full member of both the EU-Indonesia Business Network (EIBN) and the International Business Chamber (IBC), strengthening SwedCham’s role in shaping policy dialogue and expanding opportunities for Swedish companies operating in Indonesia.

The two memberships position SwedCham alongside leading European and international chambers at a time when Indonesia is accelerating its energy transition, digital economy build-out, and downstream industrialization agenda.

Indonesia is one of the most consequential growth markets in Asia, and Swedish companies have deep capabilities in sustainable industry, digital infrastructure, medical technology, and advanced manufacturing. This step forward gives our member companies a stronger seat at the table where those policies are shaped, and they reinforce Sweden’s long-term commitment to Indonesia’s economic development.

The memberships reinforce SwedCham’s 2026 strategic agenda, which focuses on raising awareness of Swedish industrial and technological capabilities in Indonesia, contributing to balanced EuroCham advocacy, and building stronger awareness in Sweden of the scale of opportunities in Indonesia.

Our focus is to continuously create value for our members through stronger partnerships, clearer advocacy, and relevant insights that support business decisions in Indonesia.

The EU-Indonesia Business Network is a European Union co-funded initiative that supports trade and investment between Europe and Indonesia. EIBN provides market intelligence, advisory services, and practical support to European companies seeking to enter or expand in the Indonesian market, while also contributing to policy dialogue and improving the overall business environment.

The International Business Chamber is an association of foreign and international chambers of commerce operating in Indonesia. It serves as a platform for coordination, information exchange, and collective dialogue with government institutions on regulatory and policy issues affecting the international business community.
