Anyma’s late-night set at Coachella was canceled due to strong winds that hit the festival grounds on Friday. The EDM star was supposed to perform at midnight, following Sabrina Carpenter’s set. However, the festival announced a scheduling change around 12:15 a.m. citing strong wind conditions affecting Anyma’s stage build as the reason for the cancelation. Anyma expressed his apologies, stating that safety comes first and that they are working on finding a solution. It’s unclear if Anyma’s set will be rescheduled for either Saturday or Sunday. The DJ was set to premiere a new performance titled “Aeden” at the festival.
Fortunately, the impact of the strong winds was limited to Friday’s closing set, and the rest of the lineup performed without any weather warnings. As of Saturday morning, there have been no weather warnings for the day’s lineup, which includes headlining sets by Justin Bieber, the Strokes, David Byrne, Interpol, Addison Rae, Nine Inch Noize, and more.
