JAKARTA – Colombia National Team (Timnas) manager Nestor Lorenzo announced a list of 26 players for the 2026 World Cup on Monday, May 25, 2026, local time, with James Rodriguez and Luis Diaz as the main players.
Colombia will compete in Group K of the 2026 World Cup with matches against Uzbekistan in Mexico City, the Democratic Republic of Congo in Guadalajara, and Portugal in Miami.
Colombia qualified for the 2026 World Cup after securing third place in the Conmebol Qualifiers standings with 28 points from 18 matches.
Diaz and Rodriguez played a key role in qualifying, taking Colombia to finish just above Uruguay and Brazil on goal difference. Both were also part of the team that lost to Argentina in the 2024 Copa America final in Miami.
