AC Milan failed to conquer Juventus in a big match in the Italian Serie A. In the duel at the San Siro Stadium, Monday, April 27, 2026 WIB, Milan was held by Juve 0-0 which made the competition in the Champions League zone more tight.

Forget the Scudetto because Milan can’t catch one-city rivals Inter Milan, who lead the table and have a chance to win the league title. However, Milan must secure a position at the top to get a ticket to return to the Champions League next season.

Milan actually had the opportunity to maintain their position in the Champions League zone when hosting Juve. Only the big match ended without any goals being created. Both teams finally only got one point from the match.

Even though they failed to win, Milan’s position did not change. They still remain in third place with 67 points. Three points ahead of Juve who are in fourth place.

However, Como 1907, which is ranked fifth, still has the opportunity to poke into a higher position. A 2-0 victory over Genoa made Como also heat up the competition. Now, this club, which is supported by PT Djarum from Indonesia, has obtained 61 points.

The same goes for AS Roma who are in sixth place, but they lost by a goal difference. With four more matches left, Como and Roma can still change the top four position in the Italian League.

The threat from both Como and Roma has been taken into account by Juve coach Luciano Spalletti. He hopes the Bianconeri will no longer lose points in order to keep the hope of appearing in the highest European competition.

“Roma and Como managed to win. With the competition leaving a few more matches, we have to win it so that we deserve a place in the [Champions League] tournament,” Spalletti said as quoted by france24.

Meanwhile, Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri stated that the match was a draw so that the draw was fair enough for both teams.

“A tactical game and a draw. We really created chances. So did Juventus,” said Allegri.

“This draw is fair even though there were some events that could change the game,” said the former Juve coach who is optimistic that Milan will get a ticket to the Champions League.

“The success of getting one point makes us able to move forward. Now, we only need six more points to reach the target. And this means winning two matches,” he said again.

The match, which was marked by protests from Milan’s hardline supporters due to the increase in match tickets, Juve had threatened the home team’s goal. Even midfielder Khephren Thuram, who received a cross from Francisco Conceicao, managed to break the Rossoneri’s goal in the 36th minute.

Only that goal was annulled because he was in an offside position. Shortly afterwards or four minutes later, it was Conceicao’s turn to almost score. However, his direct kick could be secured by goalkeeper Mike Maignan.

Milan was not without chances. Alexis Saelemaekers also almost broke the Juve goal. It’s just that his shot from close range still bounced over the crossbar.

When the match was about to end, Juve striker Dusan Vlahovic got a good chance. His effort could still be thwarted by Maignan so that the score remained 0-0 until the end of the match.
