He claimed: I ordered the Israeli army to expand the scope of military operations in Lebanon.
Netanyahu claimed: My orders are currently to deepen our operations and take control of areas under Hezbollah’s control in Lebanon.
He claimed: The occupation of Al-Shaqif is an additional step in our policy. We are taking action on all fronts in Syria, Gaza and Lebanon and creating buffer zones.
Netanyahu claimed: Our operation will take time, but we will provide complete security for the residents of the north, just as we provided for the residents of the south.
Netanyahu’s new positions come as Lebanese Hezbollah has dealt deadly blows to Israeli soldiers in southern Lebanon.
Hezbollah announced in a statement that in order to defend Lebanon and its people and in response to Israel’s violation of the ceasefire and its attacks on villages in southern Lebanon, the Islamic Resistance Mujahideen directly hit an Israeli army Merkava tank in the town of Al-Bayadah with a guided missile at 11 p.m. last night Beirut time.
Hezbollah also announced that it had targeted the gathering place of Israeli enemy military vehicles in the town of Al-Bayadah with a barrage of missiles last night and this morning.
Meanwhile, Zionist news sources announced that following the observation of missile fire from Lebanon, alarm sirens sounded in the Haifa Bay, Acre and its suburbs. Also, the approach of a drone to the Zariyat area in the Western Galilee caused the alarm to sound in the area.
Hebrew sources reported that since this morning, more than 60 missiles have been fired from Lebanon in several stages towards various areas of northern occupied Palestine. According to the report of “Hadshot Israel”, these missiles targeted the areas of Haifa, Acre, Keriot, Nahariya and Isba’ al-Jalil.
