FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – The Fort Wayne Zoo is hosting a Military Appreciation Weekend on Saturday and Sunday.
The zoo says all active-duty and retired military personnel, along with up to three of their guests, will receive free admission. They will also eligible for $20 off a new or renewed membership.
For free admission and a discounted membership, the zoo asks guests to present a Military ID or proof of service at the front gate.
In addition to the free admission and discounted membership, the zoo says its main entrance will open at 8:40 a.m. on Sunday for a military appreciation ceremony, including a flag presentation and a rendition of the National Anthem.
